Type Locality and Naming

Along Kamyryrsay, Sultanuizdag ridge. L.D. Anpleeva, B.I. Pinhasov, 1999. Stratotype Along Kamyryrsay.

Synonym: Kampyrsayskaya Suite, Кампырсайская св.


Lithology and Thickness

Proluvial sandy-loamy mixture with pebbles and gravel. Thickness in gorges up to 3 m, in Kamyryrsay up to 7 m.


Lithology Pattern: 
Aus conglomerate


Relationships and Distribution

Lower contact

Interbedded with rocks of the Khodzhakul-Quat Fm and older ones.

Upper contact

Schematic stratigraphic column indicates this is the youngest unit

Regional extent

Northern and southern slopes of the Sultanuizdag ridge, in gorges incised into older deposits.
